Sponsor a Horse
Put simply, horses are large animals. Large animals = large costs. Sponsorships offer an opportunity to become involved with the community at Acres as well as helping with the costs of covering food, hay, veterinary care, farrier costs, and other monthly expenses related to horse care and other animal-related expenses.
Browse the horses below to sponsor, or donate to support our entire herd.
Sponsors are offered a unique opportunity to meet their sponsored horse and connect-given prior scheduling/confirmation (our horses have busy calendars!). Horse sponsorships can also be made in memory of or in honor of those we remember as well.

Blizzard
I love to hop into the horse trailer and look forward to my breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day and usually try to convince Heather to give me elevensies. I am easy-going and like to go with the flow.
Candy
Candy was a huge factor in terms of developing a young girl’s confidence. She also has experience as being a protective and loyal mom. Candy brings a sweet, gentle presence wherever she goes.
Gooch
Joey
Joey came to Acres after retiring as a family show horse; even though he might have entered retirement, he still has plenty of energy to spare and loves romping around with his pasture mates. Be warned that he isn’t quite fond of boundaries as he absolutely loves people.
Lady K
I am about twelve years old and I was on track to be a race horse until I sustained an injury that ended my potential career. With a kind heart and love to give, I found my way to Acres and bring energy and spunk to the pasture.
May
May is a gentle Paint horse with a calm, steady presence and the sweetest sleepy eyes. Quiet but observant, she’s happiest with her best friend Red by her side. Her softness makes her a comforting partner in therapy.
Maybelle
Maybelle was a trail horse and gaming horse for many years and before that was a ranch horse out in South Dakota! She has striking blue eyes that require a special face mask to protect her sensitive eyes. Maybelle is a very sweet gal who loves neck scratches.
Munchie

Pete
Pete comes to Acres after his family experienced an accident and could no longer give him the care and attention he needed and they wanted to provide him. He loves people! Your bubble is his bubble and his bubble is your bubble.
Red
Red is a Tennessee Walker with a heart full of curiosity and a soft spot for people. This playful guy is known for unzipping jackets and stealing hats — all in good fun. He’s a natural with kids and loves being part of the action.
